 All About Chennai Super Kings

The champions are all set to repeat the history, the team has the potential to win the title.

Chennai Super King is a team of dedicated and experienced players with an amazing captain and hardworking coaching staff.  If we analyze the rise of Chennai Super King from Indian Premier League 2020 to 2021. It was a horrific session for the CSK and their fans. That was the first time when CSK failed to qualify for the play offs.

After the 2020 last league match, Harsh Bhogle asked MS Dhoni, what the message was for the CSK Fans. Dhoni’s Reply to this was we will be back strong,  and that’s what we are known for.

Let us see what their final group looks like.

The Chennai Super King think tank was able to carve out a great pair of openers from the veterans Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis. Both have played a really good role in the team’s journey to the title in the past session. So Chennai has a formidable set of openers who can change the game any time in their favor.

Middle Order

Middle-order must be strong in any team as it’s a backbone of the team, with the likes of Raina, Rayudu, and Kedar in the team the middle overs will be a walk in the park for the Chennai Super Kings. Even if the big names fail, captain cool has a good bench strength to go to in times of Distress. Chennai Super King is the only team that can give a good fight to a team like Mumbai Indians, CSK has the potential and Captain cool is also confident.

Role Clarity

The CSK team knows their team player quality which can be reflected when Moeen Ali brought in the CSK team, that was proved to be a good signing. he was asked to bat at number 3 for Chennai super king with Raina in the eleven who has been the number 3 batter for Chennai super king for all these years, Moeen is a good player at number 3 and it is a masterstroke for CSK.

Backing the Right Players for the Match

Ms. Dhoni is known as captain cool and not known for making quick changes to playing 11 even if the team loses. Fleming’s and dhoni’s backing to the players give them the required confidence and the sense of security that is required for someone going through a bad time. Dhoni always trusted his player in 2021, even with the poor performance in the IPL 2020.

For IPL 2021 most of the players remained the same apart from releasing Jadhav and Singh. Here is a suitable example Gaikwad found his confidence in the last three games of the season, he was struggling poorly in his initial games in the IPL 2020.

Dhoni and Flemming trusted their players and made very few changes in the team in the IPL 2021. Dhoni’s trust for his players is nothing new and out of the box but it’s worked really well for CSK and for Dhoni, in this IPL 2022 looking forward to seeing some great performance from Chennai Super King.
