Storylines:

Vijay Govind (Vijay Deverakonda), a young college lecturer who dreams of marriage, falls in love with Geetha (Rashmika Mandanna). A smart woman who is wary of strangers and difficult to convince. While everything appears to be going well. Vijay commits a terrible mistake that not only ends all chances for his love story but also affects his family.

Plot:

Vijay sees Nithya (Nithya Menon) alone and saddled on the path late at night. During a visit to a temple, Vijay learns that the decorations were created by a girl named Geetha (Rashmika Mandanna). He learns of his sister’s engagement and returns to his home of Kakinada before he can try her.

Geetha, his co-passenger on the bus, happens to be in the frame, sitting next to him. While attempting to take a selfie with Geetha, who is sleeping, Vijay accidentally kisses her. Phaneendra, Geetha’s brother, is engaged to his sister, which surprises him. 

During their time together, Vijay apologizes constantly, but Geetha does not accept his apologies. After a mistake with one of Vijay’s students, Geetha realizes his innocence. Geetha slowly falls in love with Vijay as a result of his actions and how he handled the situation. Meanwhile, Phaneendra’s grandfather has a heart attack.

His grandmother is fearful that Geetha’s marriage may live before she can meet her husband. She puts pressure on everyone to marry Geetha on the same day as Phaneendra. He goes on to say that Vijay was not just a choice for Geetha, but the only one. Vijay runs, finds Geetha, and she confesses her love for him.

During the wedding rites, Vijay mounts the marriage dais and tells Phaneendra to wait. He falls in front of the others at Phaneendra’s feet and swears. He will not let go until Phaneendra gives in.

Vijay’s friend provided Geetha’s suitor false information about Vijay and his family not receiving enough dowry for Vijay’s sister’s marriage to Phaneedndra. He leaves the dais, saddened by Vijay’s lack of financial means, and asks him to marry his father. Vijay begs Phaneendra to marry Geetha. Geetha and Phaneendra reach an agreement and marry.
