First, take a sheet of cake dough and place it in a cake pan. Shape the dough into a pie and let it rest for a while. Meanwhile, peel and core the apples. Cut them into thin slices and put them in a bowl. Add the lemon juice, cinnamon, brown sugar, ginger and all the spices to the bowl and mix well. You don’t have to spread them as thinly, but it’s a good idea to make sure everything is evenly distributed.

Now preheat the oven to 400 degrees. While the oven is heating, place the apples in the cake pan and add another crust on top to form the top layer of the cake. Press the top and bottom layers together to close the cake and prick in several places with a fork to get the air out. This will prevent the cake from exploding and ruining your creation.

Take some butter and rub it on the surface of the cake to brown it. Now, just put the cake in the oven and bake it for about 40 minutes. When the cake is ready, remove it and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
