Moisture control is different from waterproofing. Waterproofing is to prevent liquid water, and moisture resistance is moisture.

The packaging material for LED devices is mainly plastic materials such as epoxy resin. Plastic is a polymeric material, and the space between molecules of the polymeric material is large. Water molecules of water vapor can penetrate through empty space in the shell, while liquid molecules are the result of their own stress. LED devices, outdoor lamp bead devices are structurally designed to meet the waterproof function of the product, but inside, despite the outdoor lamp beads, all electronic components are sensitive to moisture, due to the properties of the plastic material.

The LED luminaire is wet and water vapor enters the lamp beads. When water vapor enters the air in the lamp beads, the halogens in the water vapor react with the metal in the lamp beads during operation, causing serious short circuits and chip loss. Alternatively, drop the electrodes to open the xenon display beads and the light string.

Every March, China gets quite humid. The storage and use of LED displays is especially important.

First of all, to use the LED display

  1. Check the line and switch and keep the switch dry to prevent leakage or electric shock.

  Moderate ventilation helps to quickly evaporate the water vapor adhering to the screen and reduce the relative humidity of the indoor environment. However, avoid ventilation with humid, windless air. The humidity in the room will be high.

  3, you can use the air conditioner to extract the moisture, and set a desiccant and physical moisture removal method to keep it dry and prevent the screen from getting wet.

  4, Lease the indoor LED display for outdoor use, switch off the power immediately on clean days, ** make a rain cover to cover quickly so as not to disassemble the screen, take the box out of the sun and dry it. If it continues to rain ** To open the back of the cabinet, use a fan to blow dry air. Then dry in a well-ventilated, dry room for at least 8 hours. The guarantee of low brightness will be clear for more than 4 hours and the moisture of the electronic components will be completely drained.

  The rainy season fine pitch LED display opens at least once a week and at least once a month and stays on for more than 2 hours.

  6. The external exposure environment is complicated and water intrusion into the cabinet is inevitable. In addition to the above measurements, it is normally necessary to check the waterproof rubber ring of the box regularly for age, deformation and defects. If the screws or holder of the airtight box are easy to come off and the pressure is not enough.

  Screen covers that have been worn for a long time need to be fed and maintained regularly. Whether it’s an LED display inside or an LED display outside, if you do not use it for a long time, if you turn it on, it is likely to cause deadlights and defects, and the correct one is controlled. Knowledge of maintenance can completely prevent such problems.

Second, the right treatment for wet LED displays:

  Use a fan or other tool to completely dry the wet fine pitch LED display.

  2. The body, completely outside the image, gains energy and age. The specific steps are as follows:

  a, Adjust the brightness (all white) to 10% and age the wattage for 8-12 hours.

  B. Adjust the brightness (all white) to 30% and let it age for 12 hours.

  C. Adjust the brightness (all white) to 60% and let it age for 12-24 hours.

  d, brightness (very white) is adjusted to 80%, wattage is aged for 12-24 hours.

  Adjust the brightness (very white) ** and age for 8-12 hours.

Third, the LED display in storage:

  1. The air box and pack box must be kept dry and the desiccant and dehumidifier must be placed. Steam packaging materials must be dried on time to prevent exposure to water.

  The screen storage warehouse is a dry industrial dehumidifier and should be placed on a hill.

  3. When it rains, the saved fine pitch LED display will turn on and be detected. If necessary, ask the manufacturer for technical assistance.
