Lets See How To Make Wholewheat Pav At Home
Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tblspn all-purpose flour
4 tsp butter or 1/2 cup oil
1 cup of milk
1 tbspn milk powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
Brushing with milk and butter.
Preparation
To begin with wholewheat pav, 1/2 cup milk, heated in a pan, with all-purpose flour Continuously stir until a tick paste forms. It should be cooled down.
Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a small basin for five to ten minutes, or until foamy.
Combine wheat flour, milk powder, salt, and milk in a mixing bowl, along with the yeast mix, milk, and all-purpose flour mix that we mixed and cooled earlier.
Begin to knead the dough. Add the butter or oil now (I used oil this time). Make a soft dough by kneading it. If the dough is not soft enough, add extra milk.
Allow for two hours of proofing (normally one hour is sufficient, but I wanted to make wheat flour pav) after which the dough will rise.
Lightly punch the dough, knead it lightly, then roll it into equal-sized tiny balls to arrange on a baking sheet. Wrap it in cling wrap.
Make careful to line the baking tray with parchment paper. Allow for another hour of proofing. Milk should be brushed on the dough balls.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes in the oven
Brush the whollewheat pav buns with butter after they’re done
