Pataudi Road: Haryana Affordable Lifeline Connecting Gurugram

The foundation stone for a major road project in Gurugram, which includes a 46-kilometer four-lane motorway connecting Gurugram and Rewari through Pataudi, was recently placed. The expressway would run from Sector 88A and 88B on the Dwarka Expressway dividing road to Wazirpur village, where it will connect with the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway.
Sectors 81, 81A, 82, 82A, 85, 86, 89, and 90 are presently divided by the section, which is classified as a “sector dividing road.” The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is planning to start work on a vital 5.6-kilometer route that would link Rampura Chowk on NH 48 with Pataudi Road. From Pataudi and the Western Peripheral Highway, the stretch carries a significant amount of traffic to and from the new Gurugram neighborhoods.
The section will provide an alternative to the highly clogged Kherki Daula toll for those traveling on NH 48 from Jaipur to Delhi, and would provide better access to inhabitants living along the Dwarka Expressway.
The Gurugram Pataudi stretch is quickly becoming an industrial, commercial, and residential hotspot. Commuters benefit from reduced traffic and shorter travel times on the national and state roads that pass through Gurugram and Delhi. The location of Manesar’s industrial township on the road, comes under Haryana Affordable category as well as its connection to Neemrana’s SEZs, has aided development in the region.
The region will witness a rise in employment and labout as a rising number of companies relocate their offices and factories near IMT Manesar. As a consequence, housing demand in the surrounding areas is expected to rise, especially along Pataudi Road.
