How does a hoverboard move?
To move around, a hoverboard uses balance. By using a gyroscope (a rotational symmetrical mass that can rotate around its axis) and software control of the wheels, both forward and the reverse can be driven. You can also rotate 360 degrees with a hoverboard.
How to control a hoverboard?
It all seems super easy, but some practice is definitely needed. At some point, you will have the feeling and then it seems to go almost ‘automatically’.
Driving forward; to drive forward, at about you have to lean forward. You have to place your feet on both platforms and your toes have to point down.
Reversing; to reverse you have to lean back. You have to place your feet on both platforms and your heels have to point down.

Safety advice; preferably wear a safety helmet and protective clothing if you use a hoverboard. Furthermore, the advice is to always do this under the supervision of an adult.
