1.Make sure your music is good.
This might sound obvious, but trust us—it’s the most important step of all! You can’t expect to get signed if your music isn’t good. It will take practice, but keep working on perfecting your craft until you’re happy with the result.

If you want to be taken seriously as an artist, you have to act like one. You don’t have to be overly formal or stuffy, but showing up on time for gigs and sending thank-you notes after meetings is essential for building relationships in the business.
3.Perform live as often as possible.
You’ve heard that practice makes perfect, and that goes double for performing live. The more experience you have in front of an audience, the better prepared
