What is an aerobic septic system?

In a traditional septic tank system, when the wastewater leaves the septic tank, it flows to the wash area, where the aerobic bacteria begin to function. Because it removes the gravity of wastewater, aerobic soil bacteria kill harmful substances in wastewater before they are added to clean groundwater. This is why your soil should be in good condition and have the right PH value.
The aerobic treatment system (ATS) consists of a fixed membrane system, a continuous flow system, a retrofit system, and a compost chamber. The main difference between ATS and traditional septic tank systems is that they produce higher quality effluents and require a lower level of leaching.
How does the aerobic septic system work?
An aerobic septic system, or ATU, is a small wastewater treatment system. Unlike traditional septic tank systems, ATUs uses an aerobic process for digestion, not just the anaerobic process used in traditional systems. These systems are common in areas where there is no public sewer and can be used in a home or a small group of homes. Unlike traditional septic tank systems, the aerobic system produces high-quality secondary effluents that can be disinfected and used for surface irrigation. Most aerobic systems have three tanks (aerobic tanks are two chambers connected to the bottom) and the aerobic system must have an inlet (pipe) for each tank.
Some systems don’t have an elevator that takes you to the garbage, which means that if pumping is needed, it needs to be dug up and put in.

Household waste is sent to the garbage (similar to a septic tank). Solid waste and septic tank waste are stored in landfills and, like traditional septic tanks, must be periodically removed by the pump company. (A good rusted septic tank system requires more frequent pumping of septic tanks than a traditional septic tank system.)
The principle of operation of a good oxidation tank is similar to that of a septic tank, but maybe smaller because the system does not rely on a longer settling time to remove solids and grease like a traditional septic tank.

The waste from the septic tank is transferred from the waste container to a separate aeration tank. This water tank consists of two chambers, an anaerobic chamber, and a clarifier. In the aeration chamber, air (oxygen) is pumped into the system using various schemes for oxidation and waste treatment. The level of oxygen added to various forms of microbial life (bacteria, fungi, protozoa, etc.) allows pathogens and nitrogen compounds to be oxidized, or otherwise treated, in wastewater discharged from a septic tank. Aerated or oxygenated wastewater is called “mixed liquids”.

The treated wastewater flows from the clarifier to the disinfection device and enters the pump tank. There are several disinfection techniques. However, tablet chlorination and liquid chlorination are the most common.
From here, the wastewater is collected in a pump box and the pump drains through a certified treatment system (usual sprinkler in Texas).
